Results of the 2016 LTOA survey looking at the changing face of tree management in response to central government austerity

In 2016, the London Tree Officers Association (LTOA) sought to gain an understanding of the impacts of reductions in government funding to local authorities on the delivery of tree services in London boroughs.

Principal Tree Officers in 19 of the 33 London Boroughs responded to the survey with information about the current situation; changes within the previous 5 years; anticipated changes; and their thoughts about how local authority tree services should adapt in response to financial changes.
